Developing a background research model for the Finnish market.
Faction is a collaborative project between investigative journalism and screenwriting. Together with Finnish top journalists and screenwriters and through the methods of investigative journalism, Wildhog Productions researches the relationship between fact and fiction in drama background research. The aim of the project is to create a background research guideline for the whole Finnish drama industry.
The project runs during 2024-2025 and is carried out in collaboration with Long Play (a digital publication of longform journalism) and Sunklo (Writers Guild in Finland). The project is being funded by the European Union Next GenerationEU.
