In the dark and stormy 1990s an economic recession hit Finland, and many children lost their happily ever afters for a long time.
Once Upon a Recession (orig. Olipa kerran lama) is a short documentary about the 1990s Finnish economic depression from the viewpoint of children of the time. The film has been co-produced together with Aalto University (ELO Film School).
